It was Fidel Castro or letter c. The Russians deployed missiles into Cuba that
alarmed the Americans and resulted in standoff where the world was on the edge
of nuclear war. At first both side did
not budged but later reason prevailed and after secret negotiations the Russians
removed their missiles in Cuba while the Americans removed their missile in
Turkey and Italy.
