Hormone is a type of
chemical signal where it a means of communication between cells. This chemical
messenger produced by a cell that effects specific change in the cellular activity
of a target cells. Moreover, hormones are endocrine glands that do not secrete
substances into ducts instead manifest their effect directly into the surrounding
near where they are produced. Then, this hormones diffuse into neighboring
capillaries and transported throughout the body.
