6w - 17b = w
6w - w = 17b
5w = 17b
(5/17)w = b
(b) if w = 34

a) Solution:
Angela bought some books for $17 each.
That means , she bought x books for $17x
Initially, she had $6w.Later she has $w left.
Writing this as a equation,
6w-17x=w
6w-w=17x
5w=17x
x=5w/17➡Ans 1
b) Solution:
If w=34,
↪x=5×34/17
=10➡Ans 2
So , she bought 10 books in this case.
