Vincent Van Gogh, the painter responsible for the most
expensive artworks in the world, was known for his bold and dramatic colors, impulsive
manner of brushwork, and expressive paintings. His techniques became the
foundation of Modern Art, which is quite expressive and tendency of being out
of the narrative. Van Gogh is an inspiration to a particular group called Post
Impressionism.
