i know this is late but for anyone who needs the answer the plots are (5,4) and (9,3)
Answer: we will rewrite the given equation y-4 =[tex]\frac{-1}{4} (x-5)[/tex] in slope intercept form.
so, we get
y = [tex]\frac{-1}{4} x+\frac{21}{4}[/tex]
slope = [tex]-\frac{1}{4}[/tex] and y-intercept = [tex]\frac{21}{4}[/tex]
now, we have to make the table of x and y
now we consider different values of x to find the value of y corresponding values of x using equation y = [tex]\frac{-1}{4} x+\frac{21}{4}[/tex]
X Y
0 [tex]\frac{21}{4}[/tex]
1 5
2 [tex]\frac{19}{4}[/tex]
3 [tex]\frac{18}{4}[/tex]
have a look at the attachment for graph.
