About 4000 Americans die each year from allergies. However, this is only about 0.2% of the total deaths in the United States per year. Is the medical research and expense for allergy and asthma treatment really necessary? Explain.

Although about only 0.2% of Americans die from allergies every year, it is still important to fund the research for cures. This is because of the fact that with increased pollution and global warming around the globe, allergies can become more rampant.
