First of all, "The Outsiders" is one of the best books ever made in my opinion. One suspenseful moment in the book is when the rally starts. You are wondering who is going to win, who is going to loose, and the overall outcome (is anyone gonna get seriously hurt or even die?) An example of humor is when Cherry tells Dally to just be nice and get lost. He simply replies,"I'm never nice. Can I buy you a cola?" Hope this helped a bit. :)
