How to graph the piecewise function?
The piecewise function is given as:
f(x) = -3x - 2 if x < -2
= 4 if -2 <= x < 0
= -(x - 2)^2 if 0 <= x < 3
= |x - 4| if x >= 3
Next, we plot each sub function with their domain
i.e.
- -3x - 2 at the domain x < -2
- 4 at the domain -2 <= x < 0
- -(x - 2)^2 at the domain 0 <= x < 3
- |x - 4| at the domain x >= 3
