What does inequality in health mean?

Diversity can be defined as “the full spectrum of human differences”, which may contain visible characteristics such as age, gender, disability and ethnic origin, or invisible aspects such as socioeconomic status, marital status and orientation.

Inclusion, on the other hand, refers to “a cultural and environmental feeling of belonging”. It can be scaled by monitoring how people in society.

The practices, spaces and professionals of this field are affected by an unbalanced world beforehand in its socioeconomic aspects. Prejudice against what looks different and social inequality affects social groups in all spheres, so health would not be left out.

One way to find out which groups are most vulnerable is through social markers of gender, ethnicity, orientation and economic status. Because, when we analyze society from this perspective, the patterns and regionalities of inequality become clear.
