The sperm is the cell of the male reproductive system which is produced in the testes.

The testicles are made up it tiny tubes called seminiferous tubules which houses germ cells that divide and change until they resemble tadpoles with a head and short tail.

They are then moved to the epididymis where their development is completed after five weeks. Active movement of the sperm in the epididymis starts after its full development.
