Total quality management is known as a philosophy of managing a set of business practices. The option that is not a tools and methods I would not recommend to the owners is to Adopt standard industry techniques.

  • Total quality management is based on constant improvement in all phases of operations, 100% accuracy in performing tasks, involvement and empowerment of employees at all levels etc.

Industry standards often help the adoption of new technologies. These  standards are said to be specific how-to-do-it documents based on past technology and techniques and it is not advisable to be used by the local dairy farmer.
