Curt and Melanie are mixing blue and yellow
paint to make seafood green paint. Use the
percent equation to find how much yellow paint
they should use.
10% Blue
1.5 quarts (of seafoam green?)
30% Yellow
they should use 1.1 quarts more of yellow paint. 10% is 0.1 quarts and 30% is 0.3 quarts so yellow and blue combined would be 0.4 quarts. 1.5 quarts is needed, 1.5 - 0.4= 1.1 quarts
