Coercive Power is simply known as the type of power that dwells on fear of people or authority. The person with coercive power has the power and ability to inflict punishment or aversive outcomes on another person.

He or she can make threats that the other person will have to obey to avert the undesirable outcomes.

Conclusively, countries uses this coercive power against less powerful countries to bring them into subjection.
