Question 2 Three hundred students in a school were asked to select their favorite fruit from a choice of apples, oranges, and mangoes. This table lists the results. what is the probability that the student is a girl who chose apple as her favorite fruit
You didn’t post your table but I’ll try to help. Let’s say out of the 300 students only one picked apples. That would be 1/300. The student has a 50/50 chance of being a girl so 1/2. You multiply you denominators, 300x2 and keep 1 as your numerator. So the answer is 1/600
