Here, we are required to explain 2 patterns observed in different biomes.

The patterns that can be observed are:

  • Climatic patterns
  • Wildlife patterns

First, it is important to define a biome.

A biome can simply be defined as a large area characterized by soil, wildlife, climate and vegetation. Although, there are further divisions, there are five major types of biomes which are:

Aquatic biomes

  • Grassland biomes
  • Forest biomes
  • Tundra biomes
  • Desert biomes

Climatic patterns and Wildlife patterns

  1. Climatic patterns differ in different biomes. This is as a result of climate zones. A climate zone simply is a result of the climatic conditions of an area: it's humidity, temperature, type of precipitation and amount of precipitation among other factors. Therefore, different biomes are characterized by different climatic patterns.
  2. Wildlife patterns differ in different biomes. The distribution of animals in different biomes are different and as such serves as a pattern which can be observed in different biomes.
