I would think the climax is when the fairy godmother came and changed her to a beautiful woman. Cinderella went to the ball and capture the prince eyes. They danced until midnight and she lost her slipper

the climax is when the clock strikes midnight and cinderella has to leave but her glass slipper falls off on the steps. the significance of this is prince charming starts looking for who the slipper belongs to which leads to them falling in love etc
