What do you think of Truman's explanation for why he ordered atomic weapons to be used? Does it satisfy you? Do you think there is more to the story? If so, what is missing from his explanation?
Truman had thought about invading the mainland of japan but that would be near impossible with out the soviets splitting it up like in Germany so if he nuked japan they would surrender and ley us troops in i think he made the right choice
