I don't know what the question is but I can try to explain it
it's been 35 years since they found the hydrothermal vent. but they're still studying it, and there are many obstacles to do so such as weather, how rough the waves are, even just having a boat with enough men on it. other obstacles would include having high enough level tech, and how long it takes to get to the research site.
