As a result of the movement of the plate such
geological processes can occur: earthquakes and fault lines, shakes volcanoes
and subduction. Different types of tectonic plate movements cause earthquakes
of different nature. For example, San Andreas Fault, dissecting the west coast
of North America, is a transform fault, that is, one in which two plates slide
along each other.
