Definitely, the second answer shared above is the correct one. According to MLA style, when we have one book that was written by two authors and we need to mention them (in that case to paste a quote which you saw in their book) in our personal report/essay/research paper, we always put only the surname of each author. So, (Crowley and Hawhee 26)  is the correct reference for the source.
