I feel that Rome didn't treat people the same whether they were rich or poor. I think that the whole slave thing is brutal, especially that they were forced to be gladiators and fight at these circus's. What if you had to kill your friend? What would you do? I would never kill my friend. They were not allowed to decide for themselves whether or not to participate.

The Roman Circus was simply an arena or stadium where chariots were used alongside gladiator fights for the public entertainment.

This was a brutal event where the slaves were trained to be gladiators and fight each other, often to the death. These slaves did not have a say and were forced to fight in the Circus Maximus.

Because of this, I do not feel that this was fair on the slaves as they were simply used as tools of entertainment for the Roman public.
