Answer:
life is overall better now then the past
hope this helps : )
Explanation:
There is an infinitely smaller chance of dying of a communicable disease now. Most std’s were a death sentence in the 1920’s. Those born before 1920 rarely lived long enough to develop cancer.
The food supply is so much better now. And not just the amount of food available to the average American, but the diversity.
Just 60 yrs ago food was regional. The farther you were from the farm the less likely you were to get eggs each morning. The same can be said about the coast. Seafood was something most only had if they lived in or visited a coastal region.
Not to mention ethnic foods like Italian or Mexican. My great grand parents couldn’t have even dreamed of Taco Bell. Oranges were a treat at Christmas for their generation. Yet you can pick up some each week at the local food bank. And Food Banks/Pantries! How far have they come from the bread lines of the great depression?
Not to mention that you can get on a plane and be in Europe in less time than it took my great great great grandparents to pack for the trip here.
Everything is better when it comes to life. Now if the question had been “society” I would most assuredly have a different answer.
