The total height of three trees is 11 m. Tree A is 1 m shorter than
tree B, and tree B is half as tall as tree C. How tall is tree A?

Respuesta :

11 = C/2-1 + C/2 + C
12 = C/2 + C/2 + C
12 = 4C/2
12 = 2C
C = 12/2
C = 6
Hence, tree A is 2m (3-1), tree B is 3m (6/2) and tree C is 6m
