Width = x + 12

2 * ( length + width )  = 60

2 * (x + x +12) = 60

         2x + 12 = 60/2 = 30

                 2x = 30 - 12 = 18

                    x = 18/2 = 9

Length = 9 cm

Width = 9 + 12 = 21 cm
