Directions. The Vietnam War era was one
of the most tumultuous times in American
Histop. It was the first war that truly
divided the nation and saw countless
protests movements rise up against
America's involvement in Vietnam. At the
Same time, many Americans supported the
war and saw it as the US standing up to
communist and helping an oppressed
people.
You are going to analyze several key events
from the Vietnam War era. For each one.
you have to place yourself in the time period
and make a choice on bow you would
respond. Would you:
1. Resist
2. Collaborate
3. Act as if nothing happened
If you choose to resist, you are joining those
protesting against American actions in Vietnam
