Characteristics of Eustress (Positive Stress):

Characteristics of Distress (Negative Stress)

*It can be short-term or long-term

*It is perceived as outside our coping abilities

*It demotivates and drains our energy

*It feels very unpleasant

*It can lead to mental and health problems

*It decreases performance
