What happens to the volume of a sample of gas when both the Kelvin temperature and the pressure are doubled? What will be the effect on the density of gas?

Respuesta :

T = 2T , P = 2P as given in the question

Volume = mass *density

Now apply ideal gas law

PV=nRT

V = nRT/P

substitute value of V and P

V = nR2T/2P

V =nRT/P

mass*density = nRT/P

density will not change
