Respuesta :

The government is committed to improving fitness and nutrition because;

- Obesity rates are rising among men and women aged 50 - 69

If current trends in obesity continue, disability  rates will increase by 1 percent per year more in the 50–69 age group than if there were no  further weight gain.

- Fewer people are likely to need obesity-related health care in the future.

If the government improves it's fitness and nutrition, a need for obesity-related health care would not be required.

- If this trend continues, healthcare costs will continue to rise due to preventable reasons.

Health care costs have been rising due to more emergency room care.

These three options are ones that I could come up with based on the given graph and basic knowledge on the material. As for;

"If this trend continues, healthcare costs will continue to rise due to preventable reasons."
