You do 5x$15=$75 because he/she bought 5 CD's that were $15 each.
Then since Gary had $200
You take $75 away from $200=$125
Then He got two posters for $12 each so 2x$12=$24 then you take $24 away from $125=$101
Then since he ends up buying a jacket that is $70 you take $70 away from $101 then you have $31 left over. So Garry has $31 left over
