Society, history, and economics are deeply influenced by the law in a country. The law works as the mediator of relations between the people in the country.

 

There are two kinds of laws, which are civil law jurisdictions and common law systems. In the common law systems, the law that is made is from the judge-made precedent. Meanwhile, in civil law jurisdictions, the legislature or central body codifies and consolidates the state’s laws.

 

Religious aspects in a country can play a big role in the making of a law. Religious communities also influence the making of a law. Let’s take Islamic Sharia law as an example. The Islamic Sharia Law is commonly used by many countries in the world, such as Iran and Saudi Arabia.
