The answer is: no, because there would be no molecules traveling to our nose.
The nose could smell because the olfactory epithelial will catch the volatile molecule from the air. Something smells because some of their molecule is brought by the air, which enable them to land on the olfactory epithelial. If there is no molecule brought to the air, the olfactory epithelial will receive nothing and wont send any signal.
