Students are planning a fundraiser for the Math Club. The admission fee will be $10 to attend the talent show. Write and solve an inequality to determine how many tickets must be sold to raise at least $5,000.

T will represent tickets (which is our unknown factor). And it has to be greater than OR equal to 5,000 so it would look like this, 
10t ≥ 5,000
Now to solve the inequality, we know that you need $10 to attend the talent show. And since they need to raise at least $5,000, we simply divide 5,000 by 10 to get 500.
So the inequality would look like
t ≥ 500
