85 = (426 + x)/6

Multiply both sides by 6 to remove the denominator on the RHS of the equation
85 * 6 = [(426 + x)/6] * 6
510 = 426 + x
510 - 426 = x
84 = x

x = 84
She has to get a score of 84 to have a median score of 85.
