Composing counterpoint music theory

Hello! I’m learning music theory on my own, and I’m working out of this harmony book I bought. I’m trying to compose a 2nd species and 4 species counterpoint for this melody example but I’m having a hard time especially with the 2nd species. I completely a 1st species counterpoint for it, but I’m not sure where to go now
